Youth Trip Camps
A brand-new life-changing addition to Trip Camp at Unirondack!
For ages 15 - 18
August 2 - 15, 2026 (two weeks)
For the first time ever, Unirondack is offering a two-week wilderness adventure!! Hydrofax trip is designed to train campers in as many wilderness leadership skills as possible. From planning, packing, and managing safety, to navigating, guiding, and finding joy, every moment of this trip will be packed with challenge, growth, and learning.
Campers arrive on Sunday and spend their entire first day at Unirondack, planning their trip route through the Adirondacks. Leaving on Tuesday, the group spends ten days on the trail learning how to feel at home in the woods. By the final day, trip campers will have become their own trip leaders! The trip returns to Unirondack on Thursday of the following week, in time to participate in the final 2.5 days of summer with the rest of the community.

Moose Trip: Backpacking

JULY 12 - 18, 2026
Moose Trip is Unirondack’s classic High Peaks backpacking adventure. Campers will take on a mid-sized section of the Adirondack’s prized views, making friends and memories the whole way! Campers will tackle peaks and mountain passes, discover alpine lakes and waterfalls, all while building confidence and friendships. Campers seeking to register for Moose Trip should be willing to hike between 5 and 10 miles per day with a medium-sized backpacking pack for personal belongings, camping supplies, and food.
Beaver Trip: Canoeing

July 26 - August 1, 2026
Bever Trip is Unirondack’s premier long-form canoe camping trip, and is meant for the truly adventurous! Campers will travel across some of the oldest water trails in the heart of the Adirondacks, paddling through clear lakes and portaging around bogs, rapids, and waterfalls. Canoe camping offers campers unique challenges that can only be overcome by working together on this trip. Come cook over a campfire, navigate by the shoreline, and sleep under the stars, all while building group leadership skills, resillience, and capability!
Mini Trips
Session 2 and Session 4
Sign up to experience all the awesomeness of both Trip Camp and classic Unirondack!
Register for either Session 2 (July 5 - 11, 2026) or Session 4 (July 19 - 25, 2026), and then sign up for the mini-trip 2 weeks before the session starts (you’ll get an email).
These trips offer a perfect balance of traditional Unirondack magic and Trip Camp adventure. Campers will spend several days on-site enjoying classic camp activities with the whole community, then go on a 2-night adventure in the middle of the week with a smaller group. They will then return for another full day of fun back at camp before the session concludes. Mini Trip weeks offer both canoe camping and backpacking options.
Weeklong fees: Sliding Scale from $875-$1,250 (learn more about our sliding scale price system here; Hydrofax Trip has separate fees)

Refund Policy: Before May 15 - Full refund; after May 15 and at least fourteen days before session - Refund minus deposit; within 14 days of a session - No refund.
