Get involved with the Board

Become a board member

Some seats on Unirondack’s Board will be opening this year! If you’re interested in becoming a Board Member, please fill out an application. A board member is expected to attend 4 in-person meetings and 5 conference calls every year, and to be actively involved in at least one working group as well as ongoing fundraising and recruitment efforts during their 3-year term. The slate of new Board Members will be announced in September so that it can be voted on at the Annual Meeting in October.

Join a committee

Committees of the board are also open to interested and available volunteers. Each committee focuses on different work. Their meetings and schedules vary. The Committees are:

  • Buildings and Grounds

  • Finance

  • Fundraising

  • Community Engagement

  • Governance

  • Archives
