Family Camp

Family Camp is one of the best introductions to Unirondack you can get. Get a taste for the staff, the facilities, and of course, the food. Families of all generations come together and share stories, play in activities, and breathe in the outdoor goodness that is camp. The Adirondacks are especially beautiful in the summer and, weather permitting, we’ll enjoy nearby hiking, kayaking, canoeing, stargazing and campfires. All are welcome including families, couples, singles, college students, and Unirondack staff alumni. This week is a great way to experience Unirondack for the first time, to see old friends again and to make new friends.

The warm, welcoming atmosphere of Family Camp creates a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to explore and play together. Whether canoeing on Beaver Lake, hiking in the woods, lounging in our lodge, communing at our campfire circle, or enjoying delicious meals together, this week offers a chance to spend time with family members and to make new friends. In addition to the programming offered by our special guests, our Summer staff will offer children and adults an array of workshops and activities.

Our counseling staff offers children and adults an array of small and large group activities, including arts and crafts, music, dance, theater, swimming, and new and old games. Every afternoon there is an optional excursion to experience the natural beauty of the Adirondacks and Wednesday afternoon we all visit Whitaker Park, a local natural wonder that has a gorge and a huge athletic field and playground adjacent to farmland.

All Cabins have bathrooms, access to a shared shower house facility, and WiFi available.
