Roots and Wings
September 26-29, 2025
Unirondack is excited to offer our second annual BIPOC Retreat Roots and Wings, —a vibrant celebration crafted with and for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
This pay-what-you-can weekend promises an enriching blend of joy, learning, and community for anyone 12 and older. We welcome anyone who identifies with the Global Majority ie. Black, Indigenous, POC, Multiracial, Latine, Arab, Asian and Pacific Islander, African, Mixed, Middle Eastern, Biracial or anything else other than white.
We seek to create a space to explore our rich intersectional identities and shared experiences through workshops, music, outdoor adventures, art and more.
Dive into a weekend filled with the calm and joy of camp life, tailored for us, by us. This is a chance to bask in the comfort of community, enjoy unfettered freedom, and celebrate our collective heritage without needing to explain or justify your existence. Join us to honor our ancestors, share our diverse tales, and lift each other up!
This isn't just an event; it's where we come together to affirm and uplift our vibrant BIPOC community.
We are fundraising to support access to this retreat. Your donations and fundraising efforts allow Unirondack to offer pay what you can participation. If you’re able to contribute you can donate DIRECTLY to the retreat here:
