About Work Weekends:

Work Weekends are a great opportunity for community members new and old to spend time together at camp while bettering our beloved facilities. Some find the shared work deeply satisfying. If you are a long-time Unirondacker, work weekends are a pleasurable way to reconnect. If you have never been to camp before, Work Weekends are a relaxed and casual way to make new friends and get to know Unirondack.

Arrival & Departure:

Each weekend begins Friday evening after 6pm and ends after breakfast on Sunday.

Please register online for the Work Weekend you plan to attend. When we receive your registration we will send you a list of jobs we are completing during the work weekend you are attending so that you can let us know if you have any special skills and what kind of work you would like to do.

Work weekends are for all ages (those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). If you are coming with a young child, please be aware that your child will need to be supervised during the time you are working (and throughout the weekend).
