    Last week we completed the first annual Adult Padd Last week we completed the first annual Adult Paddling Week. While we learned a lot about black flies, portage capabilities, and wind conditions, we also saw some of the most remarkably beautiful corners of the Adirondacks we had ever seen covering more than 85 miles from Old Forge to Saranac Lake. We hope you join us next year! We are so excited to feature Cavanaugh Quick with real talk on safer sex for queer and trans bodies and hearts. We still have just a few spots available if you know a high school aged person who would enjoy our QSA retreat in person at camp THIS WEEKEND. The retreat (as well as the shuttle to and from Albany) is FREE thanks to a generous grant from GLSEN.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Gay, Lesbian, Straight, Education Network (GLSEN) of Albany, this year’s QSA Retreat at Unirondack will once again be held FREE OF CHARGE. For the past 10 years, our retreat has been a staple of our spring program for high schoolers of all orientations and identities. At the retreat we will host workshops, discussion groups, educational opportunities, and play camp games in an intentionally LGBTQ+ focused space. If you or someone you know might be interested, sign up today! Note: There is also a shuttle bus from Albany, NY for those who need ride assistance to this retreat. The shuttle is also free of charge!
