Barton
For ages 9-12
JULY 1–7, 2012
FEE: $640
Barton is a special week, combining the energies and perspectives of campers of both elementary school and middle school ages. By breaking through the presumed age barrier between elementary and middle school, campers will develop new understanding and respect for each other. Through the facilitation of our professionally trained staff of caring young adults, campers work closely with each other to develop a close-knit community capable of making decisions together and working as a team. Channing 1 & 2
For ages 12-14
JULY 8–14, JULY 15–21, 2012
FEE: $640 per week
Channing is a fun and exciting week. Each day is filled with a variety of physical and intellectual activities that challenge campers to see themselves and each other in new ways. We maintain a high camper-to-staff ratio, allowing our campers to develop strong relationships with the extraordinary young adults who make up our staff. Our professionally trained staff helps campers develop the tools they need to make good decisions on their own. Each Channing camper is encouraged to accept people who are different from themselves, express themselves openly in a safe environment, explore their creative energies in a variety of ways, develop new skills, and, most importantly, have fun all week long! Parker 1 & 2
For ages 14-16
JULY 22–28, JULY 29–AUG 4, 2012
FEE: $640 per week
Parker gives both junior and senior high school age campers the chance to explore the common threads that run through young adulthood. Our trained staff of caring young adults work with campers to develop a close-knit community capable of making decisions together about their camp experience. All aspects of both our Channing and Ballou sessions are incorporated. This session provides the opportunity for campers who have made friends with slightly older or younger peers to maintain their connections and to form new ones. REGISTER NOW!

Ballou 1 & 2
For ages 15-18
AUGUST 5–11, AUGUST 12–18, 2012
FEE: $640 per week
Ballou campers quickly develop a close-knit community. Campers have a substantial voice in creating their camp experience, and through skilled facilitation, they learn to accept and value the unique contribution of each individual. A carefully cultivated atmosphere of trust and caring produces the safety that allows campers to explore themselves and try new things. This session focuses on discussions of issues that are important to teens, outdoor activities, and creative expression in many forms. Our extraordinary, professionally trained staff helps campers develop the tools they need to make good decisions independently. We provide an excellent staff-to-camper ratio that allows significant individual attention for each camper. REGISTER NOW!

High Peaks Adventure
For ages 14-17
AUGUST 5–11, 2012
FEE: $640
This wilderness backpacking trip into the High Peaks region of the Adirondack Mountains will be a challenging and exciting hiking experience for teens. Teamwork, campcraft and outdoor cooking are just a few of the skills campers will learn. Trip participants should feel comfortable with outdoor camping and carrying a backpack that is between 30 and 45 pounds and be physically and mentally prepared for a tough but rewarding backcountry experience. The trip is limited to 9 participants. Your adventure will start and end at Unirondack, where you’ll prepare for the trip on Sunday and take a welcome hot shower on Friday before joining our Ballou campers for our end-of-week banquet, campfire and dance.
